Getting Started
Welcome to Kilowhat! This guide will help you get up and running with your Yaeltex MIDI controller.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A Yaeltex MIDI controller
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari)
- USB cable to connect your controller
Connecting Your Device
Section titled “Connecting Your Device”- Connect your Yaeltex controller via USB
- Open Kilowhat in your browser
- Click Refresh in the Devices panel to detect your controller
- Select your device from the list
Understanding the Interface
Section titled “Understanding the Interface”Kilowhat uses a card-based interface where each component (encoder, button, fader, LED) is represented by a card. Learn more about Understanding Cards.
First Configuration
Section titled “First Configuration”- Select a component card to edit
- Configure the MIDI parameters (channel, CC number, etc.)
- Click Send to Device to apply changes
- Test your controller in your DAW
