Banks Overview

A bank is a layer of messages in your controller. Think of the shift button on your computer keyboard - it gives you a whole new set of messages. Banks work the same way, but you can have more than one.

Banks section in Kilowhat

  • Bank 1: Messages to control a hardware synth
  • Bank 2: Messages to control a DAW
  • Bank 3: Messages to control a soft synth

Each bank can have its own:

  • MIDI channel
  • MIDI port
  • Color feedback
  • Shifter behavior (momentary/toggle)

The bank list shows all configured banks for your controller. Select a bank to edit its configuration.
